2017 Festival Competitions

The Art Exhibition and Photography Competition are opportunities to be involved in the Festival and display your creative side. There is also the Scarecrow competition for our local traders and the Dog Show on Sunday Afternoon.


Art Exhibition The Winners

In first place the judges awarded a £100 cheque to Ben Watson for his painting “On the other hand” In second place winning a £50 cheque was Barbara Barlow for her painting “Winter Trees”

Val Gannon,President of Rotary Club of Warrington made the judges award to Ben Watson.

The winner of the Stockton Heath Festival Tudor Pole award (for the largest number of votes from the public who visited the exhibition) went to Ben Watson for his painting “On the other hand”  Ben received a mounted fused glass original piece of art, made by local artist Ally Noble.

This prize was presented to Ben by Karen Pole, daughter of the late Tudor Pole .

The exhibition was organised by Helen Dutton, on behalf of the Festival and the Warrington Art Group and the sponsor was the Rotary Club of Warrington.

Spot the Foreign Object Competition The Winner

Was Holly Bean There were 3 entries with only one incorrect object and after a draw Holly was picked out. An amazing feat and congratulations to all the entrants and thanks to the participating shops/businesses.
