Independent Art and Culture Festival with a difference
Stockton Heath Festival is an independent annual event that brings together the whole community. Unlike many festivals, there are plenty of free events including for children, all run by volunteers.
For one long weekend in the height of summer various local venues and the Festival Field welcome festival-goers interested in live music, dance, drama, comedy, theatre, an art exhibition, crafts and much, much more.
The Festival’s vision is to:
- create an annual Festival promoting Stockton Heath and the surrounding area
- deliver community art, culture and heritage activities for all ages and interests
- strengthen relationships between the Festival, businesses, organisations and community groups in and around the area.

The vibrant festival brings the whole village together to celebrate. It’s a great way to enjoy a packed programme of events with friends and family.

Arty & Crafty?
You’ve come to the right place. The Festival Art Exhibition is a free, popular, and in the stunning historical St Thomas’ Church.

Theatre & Comedy Fan?
Enjoy open-air theatre while bringing your own picnic, and also local drama groups, as well as the ever-popular Comedy Night featuring not one but various talented comedians.

Heritage walks and talks, bringing history to life visually and through storytelling capturing a bygone era. Knowledgeable local historians bring the past to life.

Stockton Heath Festival 2026 was run in association with Cransley School, one of Cheshire’s leading independent schools.
