ANNOUNCEMENT 22nd March 2020
We regret to announce that, given the current uncertainty and concerns for public safety surrounding
the Coronavirus outbreak, the 2020 Stockton Heath Festival will not take place.
The organisers would like to say thank you to everyone who has been involved, working hard to prepare
what promised to be another great Festival. Their time and e”ort has been greatly appreciated.
Planning will begin once more after the summer months to make the 2021 Festival the best it can be.
Stockton Heath Festival
How is it run?
The Festival is run purely by volunteers. An Executive Committee led by a Festival Director is responsible for putting the Festival together. Areas of work include Events, Venues, Fundraising, Marketing and Volunteers. The work of the Committee is overseen by a Board of Trustees responsible to the Charities Commission. During the course of a year about 50 volunteers from the local community help organise and put on the Festival.
How much does the Festival cost to put on?
Costs change from year to year but approximately £45,000 is needed each year to put the Festival on. This covers things such as hiring the marquees, sound and lighting equipment, publicity, performance fees, licences, insurance and event fees etc.
How do I sponsor the Festival?
The Festival has several sponsor packages that can be tailored to suit your business. Sponsors are encouraged to support the Festival from October the year BEFORE each event.
In October 2019 sponsorship will be open to fund the 2020 Festival.
For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you.

How can I get involved?
We are always looking for new volunteers to help with different aspects of the Festival and need people with all sorts of skills and experience. This can be a regular commitment throughout the year or just at key times during the Festival week. To find out more, or to sign up please go to our Volunteers page.
