The annual festival weekend is run by around 50 volunteers who donate time, skills and experience to help the extended weekend run as smoothly as possible. The level of involvement varies depending on how much time you have spare. From four hours to forty hours, the choice is yours!
Coud YOU help create the 2025 festival?
We are looking for people who love meeting others, contributing to the community and creating something great! Roles can be shared and are open to volunteers who work full time and retirees too. The Festival Team is friendly and help each other out by donating time and with advice, so noone is ever unsupported.

Festival Coordinator(s)
An ideal role for someone who would enjoy chairing our monthly team meetings, helping other team members, and representing the festival within the wider community.

Fundraising Coordinator(s)
Could you meet and greet local businesses and secure sponsorship for the festival? This is one reason why this role requires a bit more availability during working hours.

Volunteer Coordinator(s)
Volunteers are vital to the festival and this role mainly involves contacting potential volunteers, and making sure there are enough volunteers for each festival event to run smoothly.

Events Coordinator(s)
Do you enjoy going out to events and identifying which acts may suit the festival? This role also involves booking acts and scheduling events to suit venues in and around Stockton Heath.

Art Exhibition Coordinator(s)
The exhibition is one of the most popular events at the festival. This role in particular, lends itself to being shared, as it involves contacting artists, organising and managing associated exhibition activities.
Why volunteer?
Some people like meeting new people and being part of a community event, while others want to make a positive difference. Regular volunteers enjoy the buzz of the festival atmosphere and being part of something special that brings people together to have fun. Whatever your reason, if you feel volunteering could be for you, the Festival Team would love to hear from you!
Do I need experience?
Many volunteers have not been involved in a festival before and are guided by others who are more experienced. Volunteering can be for a few hours to help run specific events such as the Art Exhibition, while others can commit more time (the committee plans each festival months in advance).
